Maybelline Micellar Water

Micellar water is a skincare product that removes makeup and cleanses the skin, without the need for rinsing. (Thanks, Google!)

Bought this at Watsons Gaisano Mall, Iligan City. For P199. Contains 200 mL

Directions for Use: Soak a cotton pad and apply on whole face. No need to rub

Claims:

• Removes all makeup and UV products
• Hydrates
• Removes trapped dirt and dust, refine pores
• Freshens like a toner
• No need to rinse
• Suitable for sensitive skin

It also says that it has No Fragrance, is Alcohol free, Fresh and Oil free.

My thoughts

• Not very effective in removing makeup and dirt, you'll need more than 3 soaked cotton pads
• It does hydrate skin, doesn't leave my skin dry
• Not that good at removing trapped dirt and dust. Refines pores? I don't think so
• Freshens like a toner? I don't think so, it just feels like water to me
• I don't feel any sting or cooling effect on my skin, it actually just feels like water, so i think its ok with people who have sensitive skin.
• It is fragrance free, no scent at all
• You still need to wash your face with cleanser and water after this

For me, it's just an OK product. 

I will still continue to use it, but I WON'T REPURCHASE.

How To: Brows (Special Occasions)

Hey loooves!

Do you know the purpose of eyebrows? Aside from framing your face, they shield our eyes from the sun's rays and pollution in the air. They're like the roof of our eyes! :P
Most people neglect to give their brows attention especially when putting on makeup. I know they're kind of tricky to do, but I found a product and a technique to shape and fill them in.

Now that graduation is coming, you'll always find yourself in parties and other social events! Of course you want to look your best! Never neglect your brows, for they are the ones that frame your face, and would turn your normal party face to VAVAVOOOM-socialite-i'm-always-this-good-lookin'! :))))

I was soooo excited when I got my "Color My Brows" brow mascara from Etude House! It's the answer to my brow problems! Haha! I have always heard of brow mascaras before but i never thought they would be super useful! Here's a video showing you how I use it:
